DOGZ Festival 2025
On May 1st, we participated in Hungary’s – and perhaps the region’s – most popular dog event, the DOGZ Festival in Budapest, where 11,000 visitors came together to celebrate the dog-loving lifestyle. The event was a tremendous success: the dachshund pack walk gained international attention, with CNN, BBC, and The Independent all covering the story.
The festival and conference featured over 60 programs for attendees. Jacks and Bears had its own booth, where hundreds of visitors stopped by to meet our dogs and get to know us in person.
Gábor also appeared on the DOGZ Pro stage, where he spoke with Gábor Bazsó (Karotta) to introduce the Bernese Mountain Dog and the Jack Russell Terrier breeds, and to promote the importance of responsible pet ownership.
We took an active part in the event as well – joining both the Jack Russell Terrier packwalk and the closing packwalk at the end of the day.
As recognition for efforts to promote responsible dog ownership, the DOGZ Awards were presented for the first time at the event. It was a great honor for Ziegler Gábor to be part of the professional jury and to present the “Communication for Dogs” award to Dr. Cecília Kajó.
